Kazakh investors are implementing two large projects in the Akmola region
Two large projects in the RES and building materials industries are being implemented in the Arshaly and Tselinograd districts of the Akmola region. Projects with a total investment of more than 60 billion tenge are being implemented with the support of KAZAKH INVEST.
Thus, a new brick factory with a capacity of 120 million pieces of bricks per year is being built in the Arshalyn District. The project, implemented by investors in «SG Brick», will be launched under the regional Industrialization Map. Industrial buildings and auxiliary premises will occupy a plot of 20 hectares. The volume of investments in the project will amount to 10 billion tenge.
«According to the calculations of specialists, the launch of production will provide construction material not only for the Akmola region, but also for the neighboring regions of the country, including the city of Nur-Sultan» said Yernur Zholumbetov, regional director of KAZAKH INVEST in Akmola region.
The project for the construction of a wind farm is being implemented by the «Build Master Group». The concept provides for the annual production of more than 400 million kWh of electricity. It is planned to install 22 modern wind turbines on the project. The cost of the wind turbine will be 50.2 billion tenge. Implementation period Q3 2021 - Q4 2023.
«In the future, companies are planning to expand their projects. Investors also intend to apply for an investment contract with the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It should be noted that today the pool of Akmola region includes 249 projects with an investment volume of 1.7 trillion. tenge. The largest number of projects falls on the agribusiness, tourism, processing, mining and metallurgy, and the construction industry.
